Tis the season

TIs the season to celebrate and enjoy family gatherings, having parties with friends new and old and for giving gifts.   I hope everyone out there is enjoying this time with family and friends and getting an abundance of gifts and eating way too much.   I wrote this to express my feelings of joy of still having my mother and my brothers and sister with me this holiday season.   Even though dad is not around in the physical anymore, I think he still enjoys the season popping in on us from time to time.

There isn't too much on the paranormal in this blog, but just saying everyone please enjoy yourselves this Christmas season and wishing everyone well!:D

Recurring dream

Some believe that the recurring dream may actually be a telling of a future event.  Almost as if someone or an unseen force is putting these thoughts into your head so that you can change the future event or it's letting you know of something to come.  Well, I had a dream like this that happened over a period of one week.

My dream occured during the summer of 2001.  My dream started off with me in an urban city, name unknown, and I am walking along a sidewalk.  I am always next to a very tall building that seemed to be a skyscraper size one.  Well, the first night was just me looking around the streets as I was walking down the street.  Suddenly a plume of dark grayish cloud would come upon me.  It would totally envelop me and I wouldn't be able to see through it.  Then the first dream ended.  The more nights that I had this dream the more detailed and the more informed that I became.

By the end of the week, my dream had turned into a sort of nightmare scenario of dismembered body parts and voices that were screaming at me for help.  I had turned to look at someone, a lady that was crying and bleeding and was standing next to me asking for help in understanding just what had happened to her and all the other people around me.  She really had no idea what occured.  I didn't really have a full answer for her so I just stood there in stunned silence looking back at her.  I kept wondering what kind of dream this was or was it a dream.  It all seemed to real and the people there were all too real.  Well, the plume of grayish dust and smoke cleared and suddenly a very bright light was shining at the end of the street that all these people were on.  I thought it was a UFO that had come into my dream but it was an area of bright light.  Then a voice from the light said to tell the people it was ok to come to the light.  Their families were waiting for them in there.  So I started to scream and yell at everyone to go into the light.  At first no one or most were suspicious of all this.  They were hesitant to go but another lady that came out from somewhere in the crowd said "Listen to her!!  Go into the light!!"  That is when all or most of the people started their exodus into the light.  Almost everyone had a smile on their face or a warm glow coming from them.

But I noticed that a few of the people went back into the dark city in between the buildings very quickly.  I think that they were frightened and didn't believe what they were seeing was real either.  They ran from the light.  As suddenly as the light came it was gone.  Then the city was dark and cold again.  This is how my dream always ended.

As I said earlier, this dream occured during the summer of 2001.  As the months went by I never had this dream again.  Then the news of the attacks on the World trade center towers came on.  I was watching the broadcast and I saw in particular one news shot of a great plume of grayish smoke and dust coming towards the people and the news crew as the towers started to fall.  That is when I realized I had dreamed this several months ago.  The plume looked exactly as it did in my dream.  I just stood watching the news coverage in stunned shock.  Did I dream of this event earlier and it was actually a premonitory dream?  Or was this just coincidence?   Were the people that I witnessed going into the light actually being taken to the next plane of existence, the afterlife, or was it just my imagination?  This whole theory of recurring dreams may be a predictor of the future is very interesting and maybe one that will not be answered soon.
