While I was experiencing different encounters with apparitions and other paranormal events at work, my other co-workers were experiencing their own paranormal events as well.  Unknown to me though, since most of them kept it quiet.  Almost as if they all were some crazy event that shouldn't be  talked about.  Other people may think badly of them or they had a 'alpha' male image to protect and being scared of ghosts doesn't fit that image. 

Until I wrote a blog about my encounter with a full-on apparition that these other stories never would have surfaced.  One co-worker had a full-on apparition sighting as well.  His was a former employee allegedly.  This former employee was coming to work at the clubhouse when he suffered a heart attack while driving through the security gate.  So it could possibly be this former employee.  He has a job to finish and he is still around the place. 

What keeps these spirits at the clubhouse we will probably  never really know.  Maybe our friendly atmosphere or they have some attachment to someone or the clubhouse itself could give them a reason to stay with us. 

THIS IS ONE OF MY GHOST STORIES BUT IT REALLY DID  HAPPEN TO ME.

One morning while I was at work, I was standing in front of the pick up window while there was a lull in customers.  The clubhouse golf group 'The Posse' were about to go out on their game for the day and suddenly a older man came from around the side where our soda fountain was located.  He looked a little lost and actually looked like he was looking for a friend.  I was watching him then he turned and was looking my way.  He just stared at me for a moment as I was looking back at him.  I was wondering who he was looking for.  He didn't say anything but he started to approach me.  All the time he was staring at me with a surprised look on his face. 

He came within feet of me and that's when I was about to ask him if I could assist him.  He moved his hands and arms in a slight up and down motion.  It made me think he was trying to test me to see if I could really see him there.  I didn't understand this at first but he looked like he needed some assistance.  When I was about to ask him what he needed, he had a really spooked look on his face and then turned to walk away but he disappeared!! 

Then I noticed that the entire area that he was standing in was actually losing color and when he disappeared, all the color came flooding back.  And my hearing or ear pressure had gone down so low that I couldn't hear the cashier talking to me only a few feet away.  But when the man disappeared, my hearing slowly came back. 

This stunned me since this was the first full on apparition of a spirit that I have ever witnessed.  It was unexpected and that's what made it startling to me.  I have no idea who that man was but I think he was just as startled that I could see him as I was seeing him.  Maybe he is looking for a friend who comes out to the clubhouse to play a round or he was just passing on through.  I will probably never know since I haven't seen him since this one time.
